Conklin Bros. Floorcoverings of the East Bay was originally established in the city of Oakland in 1947 by Bill Houston and Russ White. For many years, the East Bay location was part of a 7-store chain of Conklin Bros. stores, with locations throughout the
Bay Area. The store location was moved to San Leandro in 1987, after the the passing of Mr. White and the retirement of Bill Houston.
For years, Conklin Bros. Floorcoverings of the East Bay has been a big player in the commercial floorcovering arena. We have an outstanding reputation in the industry, going back to the establishment of the Conklin Bros. organization in 1880, and have earned tremendous respect in the industry for our integrity and knowledge.
Today, our customers remain loyal and true. Between 80 and 90 percent of our business continues to come from repeat customers or referrals. We take tremendous pride in knowing that you can always count on us.
